ExplorAbilities has been providing the New Mexico community with outstanding Pediatric therapy services for nearly 40 years.

Do children have occupations?

YES! "Occupations" means anything that occupies your time and for kids this includes: dressing, writing, paying attention, bathing, etc. The most important occupation of childhood is PLAY.
Our pediatric Occupational Therapy team is focused on teaching and learning through play. Sessions include structured and unstructured activities to develop various motor, sensory, and executive functioning skills. Our clinicians will partner with the families/caregivers to maximize function and engage in the activities that promote participation in their most valued occupations.
ExplorAbilities also offers social groups to enhance and build on goals addressed in one-on-one sessions. By including peers, these group sessions help to develop a variety of skills, such as maintaining conversation, compromise, and team building.

If you would like more information, please call ExplorAbilities at (505) 268-7988, or schedule an appointment online.
