Insurance/Payment

The physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy and counseling services provided by ExplorAbilities are covered by most insurance plans operating in Albuquerque, New Mexico. ExplorAbilities is a preferred provider for most insurance plans as well as Medicaid, including the Centennial programs.

We work with you to help determine whether the services you, or your child, need are covered by your insurance company. We file your claims and follow-up on payment issues. Any patient co-payments, co-insurance, or non-covered service amounts are due at the time of service. A prescription or referral from your doctor is needed.

For Patients

Please call our office at 505-268-7988 to schedule an appointment. If an immediate opening is not available, we will add you to a waitlist. We will need a prescription or referral from your doctor for insurance purposes.

The initial paperwork can be completed at your first appointment by arriving 15 minutes early. Please bring the completed paperwork with you to your first appointment. Some services have additional forms to be completed. Our office will let you know which ones are needed.
