ExplorAbilities has been providing the New Mexico community with outstanding Pediatric Speech-Language therapy services for nearly 40 years.

We complete comprehensive evaluations in order to develop an individual treatment plan to support speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children.

Our speech and language pathologists are also experienced in helping with assistive communication devices or systems—both speech-generating and non-speech generating.

Our SLPs diagnose and provide treatment if a child requires support to strengthen one or more of the following areas:

• Interacting and communicating with others
• Using and understanding functional and social language
• Producing speech sounds in words and sentences
• Accurately articulating verbalizations for effective intelligibility
• Fluently saying sounds, words, and sentences
• Talking without atypical dysfluencies or stuttering
• Understanding what is said or read
• Comprehending comments, questions, instructions, sequences, and stories
• Composing ideas into sentences and stories
• Using appropriate vocabulary and sentence structure
• Feeding and eating safely and effectively
• Consuming enough nutrients in an enjoyable manner
• Vocal hygiene / voice use
• Producing speech with appropriate use of laryn
