Pediatric Physical Therapist

ExplorAbilities has an immediate opening for an experienced and licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist.

We provide evaluation and treatment services to children with a variety of developmental and neurological challenges, including those with cerebral palsy, torticollis, and other movement delays and disorders. We work closely with families and with each other to provide effective, evidence-based, respectful, positive, and playful treatment sessions. Our clinic is well-equipped with materials, toys, technology, and equipment in individual treatment rooms as well as open gym environments.

Additionally, ExplorAbilities has an orthopedic physical therapy department serving both children and adults. It may be possible to arrange for work time split between the pediatric neuro-developmental department and the orthopedic department depending on the staffing needs in both areas.

The workday at ExplorAbilities is fast-paced and requires an individual who is organized, communicative, and collaborative. Skills of self-motivation and initiative for learning are also valuable attributes for the physical therapist working in our clinic.

Requirements of Physical Therapist Applicant:

• Must be eligible for NM licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Must have experience with standardized evaluation and treatment of the population described

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

ExplorAbilities is looking for an experienced Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist that is New Mexico based.

We provide evaluation and treatment services to children with speech-language, occupational, and physical needs. We provide services to with a variety of developmental and neurological challenges including those with ASD, speech sound disorders, oral aversion, auditory processing and language disorders. We work closely with families and with each other to provide effective, respectful, positive, and playful treatment sessions.

Our clinic is well equipped with materials, toys, iPads, and equipment in individual treatment rooms as well as open gym environments. We are currently operating under a hybrid model incorporating both teletherapy and in-person sessions to maximize quality of services and health of our clients and the community.

The workday is fast-paced and requires an individual who is organized, communicative, and collaborative. Skills of self-motivation and initiative for learning are also valuable attributes for the speech-language pathologist working in our clinic.

Requirements of Speech Therapist Applicant:

• ASHA certified
• Eligible for NM licensure
• Experience with standardized evaluation and treatment of the population described
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• A genuine interest in learning and collaborating with therapists and families

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

ExplorAbilities has an full-time opening for an experienced and licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We provide evaluation and treatment services to children birth to 18 years of age with a variety of developmental and neurological challenges including those with autism, sensory processing disorder, and cerebral palsy. We work closely with families and with each other to provide effective, evidence-based, respectful, positive, and playful treatment sessions.

Our clinic is well equipped with materials, toys, iPads, and equipment in individual treatment rooms as well as open gym environments. Telehealth services have recently been added to add to treatment options.

The workday is fast-paced and requires an individual who is organized, communicative, and collaborative. Skills of self-motivation and initiative for learning are also valuable attributes for the occupational therapist working in our clinic.

Requirements of Occupational Therapist Applicant:

• Must be eligible for NM licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Must have experience with standardized evaluation and treatment of the population described
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• A genuine interest in learning and collaborating with therapists and families
• Experience in a pediatric setting required, clinical fieldwork or employment

LPCC/Social Worker/Psychologist

ExplorAbilities has full-time and part-time openings for an experienced and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Social Worker, or Psychologist.

We have expanded our services to provide mental health services to families, couples, parents, and children. We work closely with families and with each other to provide effective, evidence-based, respectful, positive, and playful treatment sessions.

The workday at ExplorAbilities is fast-paced and requires an individual who is organized, communicative, and collaborative. In response to the COVID environment, telehealth services are being utilized as well as planning for in-person visits as possible.

Requirements of Mental health Applicant:
