ExplorAbilities Team
ExplorAbilities’ focus is on providing our clients with the best possible care. Our team of professionals consists of therapists, and administrative staff. Our therapists cover the disciplines of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and counseling.

Physical therapy staff are trained healthcare professionals who help clients recover from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries. They work to help clients regain strength, range of motion, and overall mobility. They often use exercises, stretches, and various modalities and also provide education on injury prevention, posture and body mechanics.

Occupational therapy staff work to help clients perform daily activities, such as dressing, eating, and bathing. They may also work to improve fine motor skills, such as writing, and hand-eye coordination. They may use a variety of techniques and tools, to help clients achieve their goals. Occupational therapy staff may also work with clients to improve cognitive and perceptual skills and may also work on environmental adaptations and accessibility solutions.

Speech and language therapy staff work with clients who have communication disorders or difficulties with speaking, understanding, reading, and writing. They may work with clients who have conditions such as stuttering, cerebral palsy, autism, or a stroke. They may use a variety of techniques and tools, such as speech exercises, listening exercises, and communication technology, to help clients improve their communication skills.

Our counseling staff is made up of mental health professionals who work with clients to help them cope with emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues. They provide a supportive and confidential environment where clients can talk about their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. They may use various techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, talk therapy, and other evidence-based methods to help clients to improve their mental health and well-being. They may also work with clients to develop coping strategies and tools to manage stress and improve overall mental health.

All our team members often collaborate and coordinate the client’s treatment plan to help clients make progress.

Clinic administrative staff are the backbone of ExplorAbilities. They are responsible for ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis. They are the first point of contact for clients, and they handle a wide variety of tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Our administrative staff are billing and insurance specialists and work with clients regarding insurance claims and billing issues. They work to ensure that clients understand their insurance coverage and help them to navigate the complex world of healthcare billing. They may also be responsible for keeping track of payments and following up on any outstanding balances and co-payments.

Our team is responsible for maintaining client records, including both paper and electronic records. They must ensure that client records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date. They must also keep records confidential and secure. Team members play a vital role in the functioning of the clinic and contribute to providing quality care to clients and smooth running of the clinic. They work together to ensure that clients are greeted warmly and helped promptly, billing and insurance issues are handled smoothly and that all records are kept organized and confidential and that all the aspects of the clinic are running smoothly.

These are all professional staff who work together as a team to help clients achieve their goals, whether that be regaining mobility, improving daily activities, better communication or better emotional and mental health, or facilitating the “business-end” of the relationship clients have with ExplorAbilities.
